MDF file in windows application - after setup it become read only

I have generated an windows application. I have used .MDF file.
The project is working fine but when I have attached setup project to it and installed it. The permission of .mdf file get changed and become read only not able to write/update.

I am able to change the permission of .MDF file manually then after working fine. but is not current way of deployment

So guide me what should I do now so I can read, write and update properly.

What code should i use/ technique should i use so I can do so.

I am using :

Visual Studio 2008,
C#.net 9,
dot net framwork 3.5 sp1
MDF FILE of Microsoft Sql server 2008 Express RC2

use this Connection String first you attached mdf file in your project ok

in windows 7 - C:\Users\Bhavesh_Admin\AppData\Roaming

At present I have problem with window 7 only

in this path Read/Write no problem. but problem is App.config.

In App.config how to access this path dynamically (I mean in anther pc have other username so?) I don't now how I can write path so it become universal for windows 7.

Hi,
I m using. VS 2008, Vb.net, .Net Framework 3.5, MdF file of MS Sql server Express. I have created setup and run. this setup is working fine.
but i want to add .mdf file in my setup. because i want to run setup in another fresh pc.
my problem is that when i give physical path of the .mdf file it show me error. while i m using this connection string...

error msg is :- unable to open the physical file "E:\Database\ImageinData1.mdf". operating system error 5 "Access is denied". a database with the same name exists, or specified file connot be opened. or its is located on UNC share.
How can run setup with attached .mdf file. plz give me suggestions ........ i need help

At Present I have checked :

I have now checked same program in WINXP (VIRTUAL PC) it is working fine only I am facing in windows 7 now please guide me what should I have to set in program of windows 7 so i can run this program?

I think you just need to read the documentation of deploying applications and/or let Visual Studio create the deployment for you. My guess is that your setup program is installing the MDF file someplace it is not supposed to be. Solve the problem by learning how to do it the way that Microsoft intends it to be done.
