Hi,

Can any one help me to know, how in C# thread is use to select different core for excecuting threaded code.

Suppose I have four core and 4 threads, then how to select if I want core1 excecute thread1.

Hello kushal, first go through blog then add this class DistributedThread to your C# application and use as DistributedThread thread = new DistributedThread( ThreadProc ); thread.ProcessorAffinity = 2; thread.ManagedThread.Name = "ThreadOnCPU2"; thread.Start (); http://blog.rebuildall.net/2010/03/08/Running_NET_threads_on_selected_processor_cores https://stackoverflow.com/questions/2510593/how-can-i-set-processor-affinity-in-net

You should be able to use:

Process.ProcessorAffinity

It's a flag, so you can select any you need. Looks something like this:
using (var process = Process.GetCurrentProcess())
{
    // only run on core number 1
    process.ProcessorAffinity = (IntPtr) 0x0001;
}
