This one also looks very good. Older one was also very attractive and user friendly.

Just a quick feedback(Team working may be aware of that). The image for Leaders, Trending, Pulse and Recognitions, in the Top-Right corner, is not loading properly in Chrome in terms of design CSS.

Rest of the things look great... :) :) :)

I agree Ibrahim. We will definitely have all the functionality that is important to us. I need to publish an article to see Mailer live in action.

Mahesh,that sounds reasonable.
Its quite right to let die the features that arent used often.
But we speakers,authors and visitors expect to see similar user-friendly interface according to the old one to get used to so quick :)

Btw,the mailer is so cool!

Good question Jack. We don't have that feature right now. We used to have lot of features and not too many people were using them. All these controls were heavy so we stripped them down.

Few comments/suggestions

1) For every article posted if there are any YouTube / Channel9 videos can those be linked together. I personally believe that will speed-up learning

2) On pages where people share their comments, I think lots of space is used because of that VERTICAL SCROLL is too much

3) Is there a way to RATE comments, such that we can read the comments based on rating

4) Is there a way to TAG newly added articles (may be only by Admin for now)
With new stuff getting released each day, I would like to get ALERTS on articles that are related to NEW stuff ASAP
For example if MVC x.x is coming in say 1 month & anybody posted an article on that, then I would like to get notified ASAP so that I can read them quick & stay updated.

In short time is the essence & would like to make sure we stay focused on WHAT (and HOW FAST) to read

The only thing I don't like about it is that there's now no tab for Articles.

So, whilst you can show Blogs, Videos, News etc. on their own, you can't do the same for Articles.

Recent Activity shows a mixture of stuff which is fine but it would be nice to be able to filter out Articles on their own. You could then show the authors' pictures as it wouldn't be the home page and so it wouldn't matter if it didn't load so fast.

Sandeep, We don't really have too many updates. Hardly once in a week or two. so adding that logic for updates does not make sense. Most of the items most of the time are new.

Ibrahim, will have all blogs, news etc in one list separated by content, may be a check box at top to filter.

Sandeep, we are loading them in one tab, latest comes. We will put a filter but not Tab. Tab is actually heavy for the home page.

The old design was way more user-friendly.we could see latest blogs,articles and so on in a tab structure.

Sir,
I have a suggestion. You should add a notification tab for the users. Because its too difficult to find user's new updates. (For example : I have posted a question to this site and I need to know I got a reply or not. To know about the reply or comments to my post I need to go to my question and find the updates. If you put a notification on home page, it will help.

ok, Got the problem , I suggest you to find a proper solution for this without disturbing design,i think it ll be not impossible.I ll inbox you some of our previous heavy design work.

Neha, problem with the previous was too heavy. Google said, they don't like it b/c of the page size. So we had no choice but to make it lighter and remove some controls and images like Tabs and author images.

Sandeep, putting 10 Featured is not a good idea. the purpose of the redesign is to make page size less to load it faster. But we can put a More > link that will take you to a page to see more Featured. Does that work?

Kailash, what part of color combination is not good? Color and design is something that everybody has a different taste.

the new pages is very user friendly, but the color combination is not good more sometimes the MyAccount option navigates to Edit Profile page. i mean only upper part is looking good.

We are adding more tabs on header and had to use a font that takes less space horizontally If it is hard to read, we can increase the size

I think the new design looks good. If possible, please change the font used for the tabs. I think currently this "BebasNeueRegular" font is being used. We can change the font-family to "Calibri, Segoe UI, Arial".
