Primary Key Auto Increment Value show minus one (-1) in ID Textbox field at run time.

Question

Hello,

I am using VS 2008 with SQL Server 2000, I have a master detail form and I am just drag the two master detail datagrid view in my form.

So when I am inserting for new record at run time,
the value of Primary Key ID in my Text Box which is auto generate shows -1, while that it should show the next number of record, so my question is that how It show the next number of record in ID Text value.
