Publish .NET Core to Azure container registry

I am trying to publish my .NET Core application to Azure container registry.

I have enabled admin user access in my ACR.

But trying to publish from VS 2019 i am getting below error.

Publish has encountered an error.

Failed to evaluate the prerequisites for containers.

A diagnostic log has been written to the following location:

"C:\Users\shwet\AppData\Local\Temp\tmpCCBA.tmp"

We’ll use the dotnet cli a cross platform took for developing, building, running, and publishing .Net Core apps and Visual Studio Code, Microsoft’s open source, cross-platform code editor that runs everywhere.
Prerequisites:
Docker Desktop
.Net Core SDK
Visual Studio Code
Azure Subscription
Create an Azure Container Registry instance:
Logon to portal.azure.com
Create resource/ Container Registry

Do i need to install Docker for windows.My windows 10 version dooesnt support docker for windows.

I have installed azure CLI where do i execute this command
Need to Login to ACR from cmd before publishing using command docker login youracrname.azurecr.io

Couple of things need to remember while publishing image to ACR from VS 2019.

1. ACR Admin access enabled in Azure

2. Docker and Azure CLI need to install into your PC where VS 2019 is running

3. Need to Login to ACR from cmd before publishing using command docker login youracrname.azurecr.io

4. Then publish from VS2019

Yes,I have already created Azure container registry.

may be you need to build your solution first without selecting docker platform as seems to be you do not have docker installed in your host machine. once it is compiled then you an try to publish using docker platform,

i hope you have created azure container registry in advance and instance of it..
