Running console application written in C# via Task Scheduler

I have created a console application .It works fine when run the application manually but fails to do the job when scheduled through task scheduler. Please guide

OKay Change permission and set to Everyone for that folder

Might be there's a permission issue

Thank you guys for your comments. I guess I did not have the access to delete file from certain location,(that was my task). I tried the same task via cmd,it worked.I will move to prod and check whether it works or not. Thanks everyone

Use following seeting:
1. Use account which got admin rights on server to run the task in task scheduler. This should be in security option
2. Check Radio when user login or not

Above 2 in general tab

B. There should be trigger for running the task in Triggers tab
C. Actions Tab: Add new Action as Start a program and select your consol app exe from server path
D. Condition Tab
1. Select Checkbox STart the task only if computer is AC power
2. Stop if computer switches to battery power
D. Setting tab:
1. Allow task to run on demand - check the checkbox
2. Stop the task if it runs longer than say 2 hours - check the checkbox
3. If running task does not force it to stop - check the checkbox

Can you give me a little more details in terms of what did you tried so far? then it will help us to understand for failed scenarios then it will help us to think alternatively.

Hi Jenith/ Santhak! Thanx for the comment. However ,I am getting the same result aftr trying your procedure. Also,FYI When I run the task,scheduler launches the visual studio and nothing happens. The task show running .But when I manually run the application ,it executes.what my application does- Finds in a folder any fole with a particular word and delete it if present. We get a statment in cmd that file got deleted.
