Server cannot set status after HTTP headers have been sent.

This is coming in Live website only.When this issue comes user gets a blank page.

to solve this issue currently i am recycling app pool manually.

So is there any way to auto recycle a application pool in asp .net mvc. beacuse this issue comes in every 1 or 2 hours in a day.

Yes i have a logic to Download_XMLReport, could this be an issue. Before i did not have such up until have that issue with my application.

Hi Prithvi,

It seems that you have any option to download excel/pdf report and it might be causing you this issue.

Please let us know if you are getting this issue in some other scenario.

Unfortunately, after developing classic asp and asp.net applications, i just didn't get the chance to move on to mvc. So while i am generally familiar with the concept, I am largely oblivious to the details of it.

I suggest you search for problem term (such as 'Response') in entire solution.

Thanks Nitin for your efforts but i am not using "response.redirect or server.transfer " ,any where in my code.And i have already went through all of the url mensioned by you but none of them are useful in my case.
i have hoted this website in my organization's local server also where i am not getting any issue .The issue is coming in my live website only.
Is there any way to auto healing an iis hosted website.

I believe that you are taking a step in wrong direction.

Instead of treating the disease, what you are doing is just suppressing the symptoms.

See if you are doing response.redirect or server.transfer AFTER writing to the response object. This error typically generated under those circumstances.
