Server Error in Application "DEFAULT WEB SITE" "PHP" "Apache"

i dont have any experience between PHP and Apach2 so 'Sorry' I am configuring PHP with apache2 i have configured both 'INI' files but when i enter
http://localhost// it show me IIS7 page .
when i enter http://localhost/index.php then it show me error this
"HTTP Error 404.0 - Not Found
The resource you are looking for has been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable."
and my index.php file located in htdocs folder.
help me in this matter.

i have already unistalled IIS service but still work

look i have downloaded both zip files apach2 and php.
after unziped all i have configured both conf.ini files now if i open
just this http://localhost/ its show me IIS7 page but after clicking this
http://localhost/index.php 'page not found error ' now what i have to do i already checked with virtual directory also but still error .

Make Sure iIS and ur website is running
and also make sure application is running
and check for virtual directory name in URL

You are missing Virtual directory name in URL its should be lik
http://localhost/myapp/index.php

Check this is correct answer if it helpeed
