Sp site 2013 while restoring access denied to the directory

I have been trying to restore Sp site from our production environment to testing, for this purpose I have got the backup of production site and then copied to my testing environment.

Then I have created one new web application in testing environment and then one new publishing site(Site is working) then I have started trying to restore the backup to recently created site in testing environment and I was using the following commands in Sharepoint management shell.Restore-SPSite -Identity http://sp-test-web/sites/sseu -path E:\backup\spbr0001 -Force

after presing enter this command is working fine and asked for Yes,No,etc. When I enter Y, I'm getting the following result. Restore-SPSite : Access to the path 'E:\backup\spbr0001' is denied. At line:1 char:1 + Restore-SPSite -Identity http://sp-test-web/sites/seu -path E:\backup\spbr0001 - ... I did alot of research regarding this and followed different solutions that suggested but non are them working, NOTE: we have the same server and conifurations in Testing and production environment and I have given the access to the backuo folder to everyone

May I please know what would be the reason behind this error and why it's not working??

If it is showing the same error for all restore operation, I would say please check with your system administrator.

By the way did you try by putting the .bak file in a network share and restore ?

Do this way.

from Central admin > backup and restore > Perform a site collection backup...On this page select the site collection( which you want backup) and in the filename give the path with file name and .bak at end. i.e E:\backup\siteco.bak

Now run the restore command

Restore-SPSite -Identity http://sp-test-web/sites/sseu -path E:\backup\siteco.bak -force

Dear sir,
Thanks for your response.
Yes path is available and I have full control over it, Do I have to mention .bak after my file name??
I tried by manually mentioning it but it's showing the path is not found.

Even I tried to open in my Computer using .bak after the file name it's also showing the same error.

I actually got this backup from CA so In CA if I have to take Backup I just have to create one folder, and you know we can create folder as.bak

Please if you know any alternative solution for this then kindly tell me.

First make sure the path is exist. Now this command Restore-SPSite -Identity http://sp-test-web/sites/sseu -path E:\backup\spbr0001.bak -force You have to give the .bak file exclusive path
