sql date time error.

Hello, everyone I have sent this data with call an API using ajax call(

IsActive: false
updateBy: 1707
updateOn: "2022-08-25T04:47:01.845Z"

ID: 1506

SqlDateTime overflow. Must be between 1/1/1753 12:00:00 AM and 12/31/9999 11:59:59 PM. Note I have send same this data by swagger it's working.

Hello,

I created the following class:
public class Input
{
  public Int64 ID { get; set; }

  public Int64 TypeID { get; set; }

  public String Name { get; set; }

  public String Url { get; set; }

  public Int32 Fo { get; set; }

  public DateTime UpdatedOn { get; set; }

  public Int32 UpdatedBy { get; set; }

  public Boolean IsActive { get; set; }
}
And posted the json you have given in question. And got the following result:
So, date is parsed correctly. If you have reached this far without issues then the date is not being passed on correctly to subsequent layers.

I just tried parsing that string using DateTime.Parse and it works perfectly fine.

What is your API inpur model? Can you please paste it here? There must he a model class written by you to receive this json, which get automatically serialized as a C# object when API end point is hit.

API are not working we have checked in postman

I have checked again with swagger and checked table data do not store. But I'm confused why swagger does not provide any error.

Because Swagger is working the API issue is ruled out.

Please carefully debug what exactly is being received in updateOn field at API end. I strogly suspect that it will be an empty string which is being deserialized as 01/01/0001 by C# and hence the error.

If possible write the request data to browser console and check there.

This error is clear that it comes when input is null or out of min and max value of db
