SSIS Jobs runs slowly in SQL 2008 server

Hi all,

Recently we have upgraded our windows server 2005 to windows server 2008 with SQL server 2008.

In the past SQL server 2005, The ssis jobs were running within 5 seconds to complete the job.

But after upgraded the packages to 2008 server , these ssis jobs are taking more than 10 minutes to complete the job

Kindly let us know, how to resoleve this performance issue.

I found the problem for this issue.

The below config lines are missing in DTExec.exe.config file.

After set this, it runs as expected.

My check list
1- Anti-virous, is it set on your db files, *.mdf , *.ndf file must not be scaned by anti-virous
2- Are you on a VM or not, how is the resources used?
3- RAM settings/ capacity how is the resources used?
4-CPU settings? check control panel and CMOS settings
5-SQL server settings (70% if dedicated machine)
6-SSIS location and SQL server location
7-Check the connection objects string in your SSIS
8-are you using UPDATE statement in SSIS? then don't find a better way
9- ..........

for now this is what i rememeber from top of my head, they are lots more
