Duties and Responsibilities: • This Application Developer position will be responsible for programming and maintaining operational applications and systems related to customer support, including 3rd party systems that support our global routing and channel management (voice, email, case). In addition, this person will help model and design applications and data systems, design and document business logic for backend processes and stored-procedures, and provide development and development support for operational applications. • Create and support applications using ASP.NET, C#, ASP, Web Services and Java. • Work closely with product/project management to clarify technical requirements. • Design and implement scalable applications within the Enterprise. • Create detailed technical design documentation and participate in design reviews. • Must be able to understand 3rd party data systems and integrate data from multiple data platforms. • Help design and support databases for internal projects. • Responsible for maintaining and supporting our enterprise systems; may be required to participate in an on-call rotation for round the clock global support coverage. • Work as part of a team and provide 7x24 support when required • Have the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines • Maintain documentation and standards for all existing and new database design / deployment. • Responsible for the analysis, design, and delivery of technology solutions provided by IT systems. Estimate of Development Work Effort to the IT Systems Manager and/or various Project Managers associated with Business unit application requests. • Responsible for aspects of system architecture diagrams and technical designs. • Responsible for following Company's Application Quality Assurance protocol, which includes providing application test cases and test data into QA, working closely with QA in the identification of programmatic faults, ensuring timely corrections of those faults prior to submission of the application into the User Acceptance Testing phase of SDLC • Responsible for coordinating with Business Unit representatives to perform pre-release application User Acceptance Testing, walking the representative through the application, recording newly found functional and/or feature bugs, as well as feature enhancements. • Responsible for creation of, submission of, and obtaining approval for IT Change Requests, Release and Rollback Plans, and Communication Plans used to release applications into production; as well as IT Help Desk notification, creation and submission of all documents required by that organization to support the new application or application change. • Maintain acceptable level of job discretion. • Maintain acceptable level of teamwork by incorporating a positive attitude, being supportive in words and actions, embodying the core values of company, and communicating with all levels both within the existing team and anyone outside the direct reporting structure. The successful candidate will possess experience in the following skills: • 5+ years of development experience with 3+ years of C#, ASP.NET strongly preferred • Moderate knowledge of HTML, XML, and Java is a plus. • Strong verbal and written communication skills are a positive due dynamic nature of discussions with other engineering and product teams. • Strong understanding and command of OOA and OOP practices • Software Development; systems administration, Windows Server and IIS • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. • Excellent written and oral communication. • Ability to direct and motivate others. • Unwavering attention to detail. • Well-developed sense of urgency and follow through. • Ability to handle multiple projects under pressure. • Internet savvy, problem-solving abilities, analytical. • Must also have the ability to work independently; also have the ability to report to a variety of project managers and superiors • Maintain acceptable level of commitment which includes more than just showing up for work, more than just performing expectations, seeking out additional responsibilities (not OT), volunteering for special projects, identifying oneself as a go-to individual, flexibility with hours, change and a passion for the product and company. • Times Ten knowledge, data replication, and Oracle connect experience a plus
