Website is not able to access WCF

Hi All,

We have a asp.net website which consumes wcf service.

In the service we have created 3 methods. And we are consuming those 3 methods successfully.

But when we deploy into test application service we are not able to access service.

After we gave our credentials and click on Login button from website we are redirecting to Error.aspx page.

Why it is successfully woked in local machine and why is not worked in Application server.

Please post your ideas here

Error.aspx is a redirect in web.config file for error=500.

So, put in web config:

and see what error are ocurring, so you can find it by your self.

you are doing correct only

take your existing solution and write your new method and go for build and publish .

what ever the compiled files you need to push to your server that's it

Hi madan, Please correct me if I am wrong 1. We have service which runs in local. So local service starts with localhost:// But when we are deploying into test server that service should be renamed with the service which we had old service(http://fff.test1.com/abc.svc) already in server. So I have created new 3 methods in the localhost service .so how can I make change these 3 methods in the old service( http://fff.test1.com/abc.svc) and consume it

Hi Madan, It means we need to run the published code(website) locally and connect to the service?

once run published code locally using visual studio and test .
