what if the password is same

regarding hashing

suppose i have aa very big company and it has one database

lakhs are involved in computers thousands of them use same username and password

how come the database will provide each of the thousands employees with their specific data

The username should be unique. That is the reason they are the primary key. So you cannot have duplicate values. Password can be the same.

But as Sachin Singh mentioned the Salt used while creating the password will be different so that will create a
different password. Salt is nothing but a random number to make it more complex and unique before encrypting.

Even if the Username and Password are the same the Salt will be different, for example, you can test it with SimpleCrypto.PBKDF2 , that provides the Compute() and Compare() method.
