What should I do after B.Tech

Hi i am Ritesh Sharma, having 3 years of experience in Dotnet technologies. I love to learn new technologies and reading technical stuff. But I am bit concerned about my future that whether I should improve my academics like doing M.Tech or any other degree ? or what i should do next for better career. I want to stay in technical field and grow in that only. Please guide me for that.

If you have 3 years of experience in dotnet field means then why should worrying about Mtech or else. You should concentrate on learning more and more and in dotnet field itself. studying Mtech or else won't help you a lot for future according to my point of view.

Well this is a question one needs to ask themselves before asking anyone else. Anyways, if you are a graduate or about to graduate you need to find your areas of interest. Do you want to continue in the technical field. If the answer is YES, you should either go for a job or pursue Mtech from a reputed engineering college. If you are interested in Govt jobs you must start preparing for papers like ssc cgl. If both these options don't interest you , you can do an MBA.

My advice is that you must have a Master degree.

As far as my experience and knowledge goes,

1. A graduate Degree (including B.Tech or Engineering) with 3+ years of experience - Will not help in surviving at time of recession, nor will it help in increasing the salary.

2. A Master Degree with 3+ years of experience - Will be given more preference in all matters.
