Hi Sumit,
Here I have listed down few things you need to consider before making decision on which way you need to go.
1. Are you more into technical and willing to update your technical knowledge according to market needs?
2. Do you have experience in people and project management?
3. Are you crazy about modern technologies? Wanted to learn innovative technologies?
4. You like troubleshooting and solving issues in code?
5. Have you ever thought, you are tired of adapting to modern technology?
6. After certain period you just wanted to handle team and not wish to continue as a developer?
7. You like interacting, collaborating, organizing and convince people rather than coding?
If your answer is “Yes” for 1,3, and 4 then you can consider “Architect” role.
If your answer is “Yes” for 1,2,3,4 and 7 then you think about “Techno Functional Manager” role.
If your answer is “Yes” for 2,5,6 and 7 then you think about “Manager” role.
