Which is the best to work either HTML 5 or Silverlight 5

I need to know future development in Silverlight 5 since HTML 5 is in progress and would be 100% available after couple of months for all browsers. Is there Microsoft SilverLight 5 development happened? Which is the best to work either HTML 5 or Silverlight 5 in near future for our web projects?

Stay away from Silverlight 5. Silverlight has no future. HTML 5 is the future.

I am writing another blog on "Future of ASP.NET".

If you have a chance to work and learn new technologies, I would recommend - XAML, Windows 8 Apps, HTML 5, JavaScript and WPF. These all have a good future.
