WPF application or WPF web browser application

Hi All, I am going to build a WPF application and distribute to other countries which check the License during start up from our server which is in Japan. Which application should I use WPF application or WPF web browser application... if its WPF application is enough how to check the license stored in the server? Can you also provide some links so that I can learn in detail.

It depends on a few key factors when deciding when to build a Web Application and when to build a Windows Application.

How many number of users you got? What is there location - One physical network (company or office)? Who is going to maintain the server and application? What would be the frequency of version updates of application? Does it has a database in the backend?
