Infragistics Day - Hacking AngularJS

On 26th September, Dhananjay Kumar is hosting the Infragistics day. Any developer with the urge of learning can join it for free. To join you need to meet the following requirements:

Criteria to attend?

  • You need to bring your laptop. In any condition you will be not allowed to attend without laptop.
  • You must have Visual Studio 2012 (any edition) or higher version installed.
  • Be there by 10 AM. Strictly there would be no entry after 10 AM.
  • Does not matter whether you are a student or experienced developer, if you have that coding bug come over.
  • If you have never heard of HTML and JavaScript, please do not join.
  • You will write lot and lot of codes so be prepared for that.
  • At the end of the hacking day, each participants will have their project in GitHub.

What will you get?

We will provide you the following items:

  • Soft copy of AngularJS step by step book authored by DJ.
  • 5 of you will get printed copy of that book.
  • Coffee, Tea, Cookies and Rajma Chawal for lunch
  • You will not get Internet, so bring your own. Most of the time during the day, you will not need Internet.

Ignite UI Challenge

Before coming to the Infragistics day, make sure that you have learnt about Ignite UI. If in your laptop, you will show us one CRUD operations sample using the Ignite UI GRID or any good working sample, you will be entitled to get some cool goodies from Infragistics.

  • Accessing parameter in the route
  • Using the $Route service
  • Using the $location service

Lecture 5: 90 minutes

Creating a Single Page Application performing the CRUD operations using the AngularJS, ASP.NET Web API and Ignite UI.
