Not able to publish from visual studio 2013 .

I am getting error Unable to add 'Defaulttt.html' to the Web site. Cannot open data connection (425). when trying to publish with FTP , its very very urgent please reply if anybody knows the solution.

I was successfully able to publish for the last 6 months but last night i faced this issue for the first time.

Please please Help.

hi

1 - Try to contact your hosting vender to give read/write permission to your folder.
2- For test perpose host a empty page

Hi asshima,

Let we confirm a few things

1. Are you removed all the folder and file from root folder (public folder)

if yes, then it is required to set again permission for newly republished folders

2. Generally, we don't have rights to set permission for hosting for a shared host, then it is not our scope to this, you have to check with hosting provider

@santhakumar sir ,i am using godaddy shared hosting , and previously everything was right after republishing it is throwing access denied error

Hi Asshima,

you have to check whether you have permission on below users for your root folder (public folder of your published code)

Check this user permission for IIS

-IIS_IUSRS
-NETWORK SERVICE
-IUSR

you can request to hosting provider to give permission for a public folder or root folder of your code

@Laxmidhar sir ,i deleted all my files in the server and republished the whole application.Yes ,its an MVC application ..now its showing the error

"403 - Forbidden: Access is denied.
YOU DO NOT HAVE PERMISSION TO VIEW THIS DIRECTORY OR PAGE USING THE CREDENTIALS THAT YOU SUPPLIED.

1 -What tool you used like asp.net web page or mvc or some other ?
2- Is it run in your local system ?
3- If yes then default page is index.html in IIs .
4-If no index page manualy set your default page from settin.
5-For data conncection have to change your connection styring aacoring to server ip or provided location
with proper cridentials
6-If possibl display the screen shorts

@jenith where to define port
while publish from visual studio with FTP , we do not have to specify port. I am not using filezilla.

The customer support of Godaddy says "mam visual studio is not supported and suited with GoDaddy ...wtf".
i am very frustrated please help.For the last 9 hrs my site is not live,my daily visitors were more than 5000 now i am left with nothing.
