Practical Interview for Tech Lead or Sr. Developer

                My suggestion is very different from all of these guys most of companies do not want to take or believe practical interview. They wants those guys who technically and logically good and they asked question scenario bassed questions for this experience.

First of all, we should not get annoyed if any company takes practical interview of an experienced person. Everything in this world is a learning and we should learn from our mistakes. It can be said that only practical interview score/marks should not be the selection criteria.

 

Companies can also ask questions regarding team maangement, challenges faced, current projects and also about practical scenarios to judge the candidates about their solutioning power for a given problem. Also, architectural/design related questions should be asked to experience candidates.

I think practical question works, but few companies ask theoretical questions which experience person may not like. Ask him/her about previous project. How he/she handle it or team for that project. What practical difficult he/she face and how he/she manage to overcome from it. Give some scenario and try to understand how he/she trying to give you the solutions.
