Salary Slips..

Hi i am currently 3 years of experience in dot net platform and worked in three different companies including current employer. Now i am looking for a job change to better MNC level of companies. My question is my second company (now it has been closed) had doesn't provide me salary slips because it is a small company, so they provide me salary in my hand and i have not even deposited that amount into my bank a/c. At this case what would i do if they ask me for salary slips at the time of joining in MNC and also i am having salary slips for first and currently working company.

Now that we are on the subject, let me share my personal experience.

I am commerce graduate, passed in 1985. I have no academic qualification in computers or IT. Up until 2000, I didn't get a job in MNC because those companies used to think what a commerce graduate would know about computers.

Finally, I got a job solely because of knowledge / experiance and hard-work. Today, I am MCSD, CSharpCorner MVP and fairly expert in C# and SQL Server.

Bottom line, it does matter but it doesn't matter so much that it will turn your world up side down. Just a slight delay, that's all.

Yes that's true Nitin sir...We have to learn and adopt to new technologies, yet there are new upcoming technologies in our day to day life..So try to improve our skills, to keep ourself updated is more helpful for our careers... Otherside we keep on trying and grab the oppurtunity when time comes....

Conclusion as you and Mahesh Chand said "It doesn't matter who we are but it does who we are in our technology."

Hello Nitin Sir....I agree what you have said here..All this because of fear, that it might affects my future and can't able to see my career growth once if happened to me... But now i am clear that, it is not a matter and only knowledge depends on their growth..

It is my "strictly personal" opinion that you are giving too much value to it.

You should worry about it ONLY when it happens to you. And even if it does, it is not end of the world anyway!
Few years here and there to get in MNC are not going matter much to you in long run. Trust me!

Hello Nitin Sir.. Some top companies might asks for salary slips from first company to till current for the purpose of background verification. Eventhough some people who gave best in the interviews are facing problems at the time of employment process due to salary slips. Because at everyone's career start, it is not a problem that company is smaller or bigger, only their hope is to get into the companies

If I have read it correctly, you current employer is giving you salary slips. It is the one before didn't gave it.

I will be hugely surprised if any company will ask for salary slips from employer earlier than the current.

I will try to explain my situation to HR regarding salary slips, when i am attending the interviews in the MNC's and if they're ok with me, then i am on the move.Otherwise i will try for some other top companies where i can get into it who are accepting my true situation. If I'm hiring you, I would not care of salary slips. I want to know how good you're technically and can you do the job. Plus if you can't get them, don't worry about them. Tell them the truth and don't worry about anything.

You should never lie to your future employer about your salary. In long run, it will benefit you in a big way.
